even i feel maturity does not relate to age as even if a person is aged many a times may behave very childish like a person who has crossed teen age but may have been habituated to get pampered all the time so here one may behave childish n so i feel maturity has nothing to do with the age factor........

We live...we experiment...we learn...we mature ...
simple as that...those who do not learn or don't want to learn will never develop...or mature

Not at all. Experience is the best teacher.
One can be born in a very rich n happening locality like Mumbai, Yet Family norm may b conservative, and wouldnt have tasted how the WORLD is outside, So one develops a similar attitude, and may not know how to cope with things.

On the other hand u can find Kids from Rural Backgrounds yet very smart.

It is all how u hav been brought up. Constantly feeded Or let to fly. Infact as far as I hav seen the MOST GUIDED and conservatives loosing their way out in the world then the other folks who learn themselves.

maturity is somethin tht comes wid experience and also age......as ur age increases u r able to recognize things better and analyze it......maturity also depends upon the experience.....like the atmosphere in which we r stayin......family etc. etc. but experience cums wid age only......so directly or indirectly we can say tht "maturity is directly proportional to age"

feel maturity has nothing to do with age...it is merely based on life experiences,,a person's lifestyle..the more a person gets hurt in his childhood the more early he matures

Maturity depends 70% on the environment he grows up , parenting, and other external factors like societal movement with peer groups. the rest 30% comes with age

may be not for others but for me i think i grown mature with age.....going from school to college and then to work makes u experience sooo much and thats possible only with age.....i hope i'm not wrong!!

well experience does come with age.. a baby cannot have exxperience :)

maturity doesn't comes with age its the ups and downs of life that makes a person mature in less age that he is nt able to act according to his age bt those who face difficulties are the achievers.

Maturtiy is naturally tied to growth in age. Hence the more reason why we are surprised when an old person acts like a teen. Exposure to information enhances the rate at which one matures

I dont think maturity comes with age. Its not how many rains you have seen, but rather how wet those rains have made you, analogous to not how long you have lived, but what you have learned during your life. Maturity is a subjective issue. Circumstances and perceptions make us say what is mature and what is not..

nope,... maturity's got nothin to do wid age
it dpends upon how much of life u experience, hw much u interact wid ppl n hw much open u chose to be
majority of 2day's teens cn handle a considerabl aprt of their life by thmslves. they hav bcm good dcision makers n most importantly, they r willing to take risks, commit mistakes n learn frm dem, wdout being depndent on "older" ppl for foolproof advices.......

maturity purely depnds upon exposure rather than age........

well, yea..there is some relation between these two variables but maturity definitely does not has a linear relationship with age...:SugarwareZ-083:

maturity is not directly proportional to age. yet maturity is related to age. how? i can explain this. maturity in my opinion is related to experience, a person can experience lot many things at a small age and can be far more matured than the person double the age.
if we talk about experiences, experiences do come with age but they may not be directly proportional to age, hence maturity comes with age as the no. of experiences increases with age, but its not directly proportional to it.

Yes...by age u get mature..After certain period of time, u get to know What think is right/wrong..?? So maturity comes with ur experiences/time
