Evolution of Nestlé Milk Districts
Nestle India has its milk-processing factory at the town of Moga and sources raw milk from the districts of Moga, Ludhiana, Sangrur, Mukatsar, Ferozepur and Faridkot. These districts have been collectively referred to as ‘Moga Milk District’. Providing loans at favorable rates to enable farmers to build their herds of cattle, working with the local community to build confidence in the milk trade. A professional milk agent was established, along with well-equipped milk collection centres. Nestlé has helped raise the quality, hygiene and value of the milk produced by some 85000 farmers in this district, helping in turn to improve people’s health,lifestyles and the region’s economy.

Nestle is facing image crisis right now. Near about 400 crore has been flushed and they now face tremendous crisis of image all their resources used in marketing totally wasted.Now, they have to start again from zero and they have to build their image again.
