Is IPL(Indian Premier League) help economic growth and development of India?

IPL has successfully flushed big money in the Indian market. Right since its inception IPL has played a pivotal role in bringing out huge money from the coffers of various sources. This money was otherwise sitting idle and gaining relatively less interest for isolated parties. Now that the money flows into the open market it helps in the momentum of economic development for the nation.

A rough analogy can be made by calculating the price of airing advertisement on the TV. The more the price of the air time means there is more idle money with the advertisers. Since advertising serves no solid purpose other the distribution of information of self interested parties.
 
Definitely!!! IPL has created a big platform where even state level players can show their talent might possible play for India. Ipl has been the new business hub and even small players are awarded with ginormous amount.However, there has been fixing too, which will tarnish the image of the game but, there is shit loads of money and who will dare to ban the game due to spot fixing.
