Well u can continue with posting new gd's and they shall be analysed in this week 2...!!

Ya sure! i had a talk with nikhil and i will be resuming with them again from this week... He shall be comparatively free from his exams!

Sorry for the delay... but could not help it out..

These are some of the things I had to say about the Reservation.. GD..

Mahesh & Rahul.. don’t keep on questioning too much..

Use words like -- my view for the same is… I would like to say that…. & not I was telling.. that creates a bad impression..

Points from traditional India are not considered.. the old scenario of ‘bhurka’ system was not covered.. People should have given atleast a rough briefing of the rural india.. as this would have moved the gd in other direction..

People were stressing on the Male dominated society.. it is no more a male dominated society.. womens have equal (I should say more) rights than men.

The gd went in the wrong direction .. people did not reach any consenses till the end too..

They could have come out with some way for choosing the merits.. as the gd was mainly towards merit..

I would like you people to read more & gain more knowledge as it is seen that most of the people are not reading & that’s why are not able to give proper points. So be in constant reading & take care of the current affairs. Do keep an eye on the newspapers, do read the editorials of the papers, that would help everyone for your PI & GD too..

The points to be considered in the GD are..

Engineering == technical Skill
MBA == Managerial Skill in hand with other skills which are required for any field.
MBA requires all kinds of skills for dealing with different kinds of situations.. its not necessary to be technical or any other such skills…

& analytical skill in both.(mba & engg.)

Its agreed that most of the people going for MBA are engineers.. but that does not make it necessary that only engineers can be better MBA’s.

A normal grad can also be a good MBA.. its just the skills that are the most important points to be considered for the same.

CAT also tests a person for the skills

A Manager requires a good amount of skills & different skills at different times.. so it is not any degree that will help him more..

It is the knowledge, the understanding of the manager to deal with things..

Experience makes man more perfect & gives ideas for dealing with situations..

hope to attend the next one....plz keep me in loop too....btw this was intresting:)good points raised but let me participate indirectly....someone talked abt Bill clinton...well what u say abt Richard Brandon and people like Micheal Dell they were neither engg not MBA's still they r on the top.Dell is leading computer business in the world and Brandon everyone should be aware of Virgin as a company.
engg stamp can't make a manager good or bad.previous skills might help him in understanding the things of his domain sumwat better as previously he was doing the things but now he will know how to make other people work for him.

Please do take care to mention the individual feedback, so tht we know how well the individuals have fared. Moreover, there will be many points which we should have known. eg. from ur last feedback, it appears that myself and many others spoke correctly, yet there will be many places where we need to improvise... Hence we need to understand, individually, our mistakes.

Please take care of this thing in the future...

Anoop & GD Taker(Gaurav) clears the GD..

Vikas may or may not be considered.. as he has less number of enteries..

I would request people not to sound harssh in the GD's as it creates bad impression in front of the Panel...

Also dont pounce on someone.. as that would result in you getting out of the gd.

You all should read the articles put in the GD section.. there are good guideliness put in for the candidates.. that would give you more ideas & you all can act accordingly...

Bhavesh Vaiety is advised to give more & proper points.. you have good points in your mind… but are not able to express them properly.. try to increase the lengths of the points & give in more ideas.. & also got to read more..

Vikas has good points too.. but has very number of entries, that would keeps you away from the eyes of the panel.. should stress on coming more enteries inside the gd

Sandhya had some good points.. no conclusion from her side...
you talked of corruption, competition.. that’s all fine.. but more to be added in it.. so that the gd could be easily diverted & you could have ruled the gd.. I think you are a bit pessimistic.. so if you could change it a bit then would be better for you..

Shrijit had some good points..
You talked of peers who a play an important role in a students life in the current scenario, as we are with them for most of the time… you suddenly bought in the maths subject, which was not that much relevant.. so these kinds of things to be avoided.. good point was to ask people for solution.. & also provided some of them..

Amar needs to read more & more.. you have good point. But expression is not proper.
You talked about culture, politics & competition only.. but there are also other factors to be considered … be polite.. don’t try to e harsh & don’t point out directly someone..


Shrijit, Sandhya would get in.. amar & vikas might be considered



Overall the gd was fine.. people should have concentrated more on giving ideas & looking after the current scenario, but they stressed more on the education than any other aspect…

They could have thought of the infrastructural development, entrepreneurship development, government support, & such kinds of things…
