Yahoo Messenger GD Proceedings...

The topic was very debatable. There should have been a good discussion cum fight but not much happened, might be because of less number of partcipants. The topic was itself a fact but one needs to think and talk on this issue from every angle.

Nishant - He talked well but didnt have much new points to talk on and was repeating points. He needs to be broad also in coming gd sessions.

Puneet - He started well but disappeared in mid-way of gd.

Rohan - He was putting statements well enough, making others involve in GD also but was not explaining his points in better manner. He put some important points to make proper flow in the GD. He needs to participate in coming gds to improve his quality and content.

Chella- He has once again proved his credentials. He talked on some important issues, facts and relevant information. Though he is a Software Engineering student, he was talking on this issue practically and putting his points confidently, effectively and efficiently. His conclusion also was strong than that of other participants.

Winner - CHELLA GOVINDARAJAN

Nishant - He was moderate. I think, he was safely playing the game, not taking much risks. He was putting one-liners more which is nt proper in d real gd. U need to be broad in making statements.

Chella - He was overall good again. Started well, concluded also well but lag behind somewhr. He was strongly putting his points at one stroke again. Anyways keep partcipating in d coming gds.

Akash - He put very good points that makes new way for gd. He forwarded many points but there shud b gud support to points with d explanation. I think it was his first gd. So he was overall fine. More he will participate in d future, more he will learn.

Sumit - He was not much active and just listening others' statements.

Manthan - He participated after a long gap and now at his good form back. He was putting new and strong points and continued d flow of gd. He is d winner today.

WINNER - Manthan Vora

Here is d review :-

Chella - His performance was satisfactory. He put somegood examples and strong points but didnt talk mucha s compared to others.

Sonal -She talked even lesser than Chella. She was putting her points in one-liners more. She was pointing out the causes and problems of corruption, but with adding to that, she didn't have proper sulution.

Ruchi - Her performance was ok kind of but she can imrove in the future. She put very good examples like Mother Terresa, Gandhi Ji, etc. . She was trying her best to make gd flow to a proper conclusion.

Manthan - He was talking most of the statements in the gd but didnt have good quality in points he provided. He was fumbling in midway in explaining concepts of corruption and success. He also put very good examples. Thats why, unfortunately he could not win this gd.

Parag - He was exceptionally well. I think he has not participated in the onlinegd with us before and he gave proper justice to this gd. His performance was better than other participants.. He put excellent points that move gd further with extra-ordinary comments and examples.

Overall, a nice and healthy gd but you guyz needs to improve on the quality and content much much more than this..... This is not perfect gd..... All d best !!!

WINNER - Parag

Hello all, we have tried yesterday an abstract topic SHOULD BUDDHA SMILE...... but members didnt use this opportunity to talk on this topic and were just thinking what to say.... So overall GD was not upto the extent....

Ruchi - She was giving her points. Mostly she was talking just about smile and how it helps in general. She pointed CRM in between in the discussion. But she was not explaining the main idea, meaning and scope behind the topic.

Mukul - He didn't talk much in the GD and just putting one-liners.

Sunil - He just started and got disappeared.

Visharl - He was trying to make GD healthy but didnt get support from others. He also kept on talking on smile and its relation to Buddha and God.
But didnt utilise the chance to prove hismelf in abstract GDs..... he could give some current problems, examples and its relation to the topic......

WINNER - NONE...... BECAUSE PERFORMANCE WAS NOT SATISFACTORY TO CLEAR THE GD, ALL GETS 5 POINTS EACH

It was the question in the topic "Should Buddha Smile???"

When does one smile?? only when one is happy. So Buddha, if alive would smile only when he would have been happy.
He would have been happy if every one understood what he taught and followed it. Thru his life, Buddha strived to make a world free of sins and ignorance.

We have not achieved such a world, but world was not perfect even from the start...but he is still smiling... because he had the conviction that his disciples would clean the bad things from the society.
If we worked towards his goals, if we could achieve to bring a smile in the life of a sad person ---Buddha would be surely happy and hence is smiling.

Even though many try to follow his footsteps and strive to make a heaven on this earth, Buddha should smile.

Even u can relate this to politics, sports or terrorist attacks also......

For the knowledge-

Powerful military nations' intelligence agencies, specially of the US, are keeping a close look to ensure that 'Buddha' doesn't
surprise them with a 'third smile' in India

India's first nuclear tests at Pokhran in 1974 were code-named 'The Buddha is smiling.' Like the 1974's, the 1998 nuclear tests in Pokhran were also carried out on Buddha Purnima, thus earning "unofficial name" as 'The Buddha is still smiling."

Please read magazines and newspapers more....... Surf internet regularly....... We will have more abstract topics and case study topics in the coming days....... all the best !!!

Starting with........

Ruchi - She was putting her points very comfortably and at the right time. She is improved a lot from her last 3 performances..... She put point of "Chandrayan" very first.... She was not mucha ctive in middle of gd though. She was putting proper statements and not going personal like others... in the case of "Terrorists attack incidents happened in the year 2008".... She also put 1 imp fact that

abhinav bindra invested 10 crore for training at Germany sponsored by his father later he was been rewarded..... in the same manner government shud work in this direction to ail facility for upcoming talents instead rewarding after winning to do PR activities

Keep participating in future............

Peeyush - He has performed decent in this gd and he put some very good examples in "financial events happened in 2008", like financial turmoil in cases of Lehman Brothers, decoupling theory, etc..... In political events also, he gave examples like Barack Obama's win, US Nuke Deal, etc...

But he got involved in arguement. He stated, "Hindus were involved in malegaon blast", which is half-truth. Dude, remember, this is not proved yet in the court. So dont make assumptions at any cost in the GD. Facts and figures must be perfect and upto date. He told reasonably about Sports section. Concluded also well.

Sameer - He started brilliantly. He also put well his side about "financial events in the year 2008". But disappeared between and didn't talk much thereafter.

Rohit - He was putting his points confidently. But he was not much active though. He put some examples but those were already been put by some1 else b4 him........... He concluded well........ Needs to be more broad in putting his points........

Chella - He started well with issues in financial events such as job cuts, dollar vs rupee, sensex downfall, etc. In technical & political events, he put some good examples like - nuke deal, energy deficit,

we got more Support for making ourself a permanent member of Security Council of UN..

In terrorism kinda events, he put a very broad statement at one go........
The Terrorism and War was on high in the Year 2008.. not only considering India.. there was not positive developement in the Iraq other than electing the govt and in afghanistan too.. the war still continues in the regions... and also there was a lot of troops posted at either side of border of india and pakistan making it look like a war is gonna start.. and considering Terrorism.. For the first time since POTA was revoked i have seen a +ve move against terrorism.. the common mans' sufferings were at last considered by the govt and made laws.. though not strict of killing lives thru terrorism.. and we could see that some sadhus and saints were involved in the terrorist activiities at malegaon.. making us think of where the common man is thinking..

excellent point put up......... in sports events, he also put e.g. like saina nehwal, anand, indian cricket team which ends d yera on a high note.... etc.... so overall everything he said was alright and upto d point, with facts and figures also strong ones.

Overall, there was a healthy discussion and all the members contributed well by putting their statements with lots of examples about the events happened in the year 2008........ But I would like to add some more which u couldn't discuss, may be bcoz of time frame...are....

Miss Universe 2008, War in South Ossetia, The Death of the Russian Orthodox Leader, Riots in Bangkok, Former Taiwan president Chen Shui-bian in handcuffs, Food lines in Indonesia, Japan celebrating the new US president, etc

Japanese yen, which was among the few things that actually rose in markets. Its 23% surge versus the dollar in 2008 came as the US slid into recession and investors fled risky assets.

WINNER - CHELLA GOVINDARAJAN

Starting with, overall it was a nice gd but most of the points were repeating ones...... and you guyz were not much talking on the point but reasonably GD was going well. Good content and high quality are the factors needs to be considered in the coming GDs.

Biswajit - He was well but not enough to crack the GD. He needs to be more active. He put 1-2 strong points though but that was not enough.

techyjack - He was ok kind of. But not the best. He was putting good points. Concluded very well but he was somewhere missed his opportunities to speak at the right time.......

Danish (hot_dude) - He was bad as compared to his recent performances. His graph is going down. He needs to take care of it. He should speak more with good content with proper examples in future rather than just blah-blah.

Chella - He was once again superb. Actually he was lagging behind Aditya in the starting phase of GD. But as GD progresses, he gets into it, arises some questions, gave good quality statements and importnatly he was broad in putting his statements.... His conclusion was helathy one among all......

Aditya - He started well... Some good points to discuss but in between he lost the plot somewhere.... Bcoz of him, there was a healthy discussion which make others to speak. He missed to win the GD just by a little margin. But truly very good performance and concluded also fine enough. Keep participating in the GDs.....

WINNER - Chella Govindarajan

There will still be disputes between individuals, communities, races, religions, ECONOMIC CLASSES, and countries. But as long as every government provides a police force dedicated exclusively to protecting citizen rights and a court of law remains to decide what is just case by case, humanity stands a chance at prosperity.
