Review on the GD conducted on 17th October, 2008..........>>>
TOPIC- DELAY IN JUSTICE------WHO IS TO BE BLAMED
Chella - It seems he is improving gd by gd. He is gaining good experience from the past GDs and improved a lot.
He was not of the opinion that only govt should be blamed... people, wicked lawyers also to be blamed for delay in justice. He stressed the point of strictness in our constitution which is very less. He said..Lack of knowledge and lack of literacy are also imp points for this delay. His opinions were very supportive and strong also. He blamed more on govt only...which is d fact.
Overall, he had a good gd. Needs to give lively examples to support statements in next GDs....
Agnes – She didn’t have much new points to talk on. The points were repetitive. Her points didn’t have much weightage Most of her statements were one liners.
She was keep on saying that there are many loopholes such as corruption, bribery & bias attitude in our law & constitution. But she couldn't move GD forward.
Sunil – He was of the opinion that our constitution doesn’t have loopholes, we are ranked 2nd in constitution. He had some facts to tell about but he couldn’t explain them in clear.
He also had one good suggestion for govt to start its own media to track each and every case.
Overall, he was active in the GD but still needs to be developed in putting broad statements.
pun_not_intended - He firstly started with definition of Justice. He pointed out some reasons for delay in justice like overburdening of judges, complexity of decisions, lack of initiatives, short no. of judges, lack of intelligence, lack of evidence, etc. ... Good ability to put statements at right time. He concluded also well. Overall, Good performance. One of the contenders for winning seat..... Needs to be more active in coming GDs.
Monica - He was not at all active. She was just listening otehrs's statements and didnt have any new point to talk on the given topic. She also blamed govt for all. She needs to be broad and active in d future.
Vivek – He gave some very good suggestions like
“We could also have a micro-level court at Panchayatis, also we can appoint lawyers @ panchayat level and give d right to sarpanch to solve non-criminal village cases mutually.”
He also shown the reason to blame govt for this....lack of number of lawyers, high courts and district courts in India.
Though he had good and strong points to talk on, he was not much active in the GD. he spoke less (might be because of his internet problems).... but make sure next time about ur internet connection and keep participating in next GDs...so u can put lively statements one by one actively.
So overall, pun_not_intended, Chella and Vivek gave a tough fight...... but Chella was extra-ordinary among them.
So winner is - CHELLA GOVINDARAJAN
congrats !!!
