Which is better- Doing MBA as fresher Or with Work Experience

MBA being a professional course with opening in any available sector, i personally feel that an experience in the sector of interest will give a stronger focus with an understanding of business model as well.
Experience should be mandatory.
 
Learning or rather adding insights once u have been in job works pretty neat.
You really realize and for surely know how much of the theory actually holds relevance in the practical world.
Either ways whether u do it as a fresher or after getting few yrs hands on experience its only ur skills n true worth that can pave ur way to the top .
 
appreciate ur point but Being a fresher you can understand things more easily because we always find this problem with work ex ppal dat it is difficult for them to unlearn something and relearn.
I agree experience helps in visualizing business situation easily but even if fresher want he can relate to situation by field knowledge i.e corporate interaction

I am in my final year of MBA and previously i worked with Software company for 2 yrs and believe me once u have work ex you feel more comfortable and confident while doing your MBA. It also paid you during the final Placement.


So in my view if get the opportunity to work before planning for MBA than it helps a lot.
 
I feel that certain profiles like Investment banking and analytics, need no experience.
And also the fresher people think without constraints and are very fast and dynamic.
Most people use MBA to change their current working field.So work experience in number of years only does not have any meaning.
 
Work experince definitly helps you to decide when you are opting for your PG.I know lot of people who just wanted to do MBA as it is hot and didnt know what are the differnt specialization all about!!
After working ina company people can decide on whether do pursue MBA/M Tech/MS.Also, they come to know what are different departments, there correlation & which fields suits you.Afterall PF should be your choice and not your Dad/Mom!!
 
Confusion lead you to ask such confusing question, students find themselves in the amid of family pressure of job and their own will. Once you started then, it becomes too difficult for you to cope with your studies and end up with having regret , which is more stressful. MBA is one of the best courses and have very scintillating future, just go for your studies because, after accomplishing your course, you have to work throughout your life.

If I had to answer in just one word, I would say "NO"

Get some experience, understand business first hand. If you do not know ABCD and someone gives you a jigsaw puzzle consisting of all 26 alphabets and tells you to put it in sequence, how would you feel?

That's the same feeling you would get if you did an MBA without business experience. If you don't want to do a job, start a startup.
