Khadi, a new dimension:-
Khadi a magic woven by hands, Khadi is handspun and hand – woven fabric made largely out of natural fibres like wool, cotton and silk. Mahatma Gandhi, Father of Indian Nation, made khadi the fabric of millions. Khadi became a potent symbol of the resurgence of India’s rural industries. Today, khadi remains vocal representative of the Indian Cottage Industry.

Khadi or Khaddar is a term for handspun and hand-woven cloth from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan primarily made out of cotton.

The cloth is primarily woven from Hemp and may also include silk, or wool, which are all spun into yarn on a spinning wheel called a charkha. It is a versatile fabric, cool in summer and warm in winter.
