Lionel Messi, the man with sly skills and exceptional football player, faces trial over an alleged € 4.1m (£3m = 30 Crore INR approximately) tax fraud. Earlier too, the giant footballer and his father Jorge were accused of not paying tax. It, is very easy to point out someone for the fault, instead of blaming themselves, it seems like at this juncture even celebrity connects with common people. They too, have blamed this wrongdoing on their former agent and were not aware of the situation. Lionel Messi’s lawyers have appealed against his appearing in court but that request was rejected by Barcelona court.
As per the report in El Pais, the court said that there was enough evidence that the Barcelona star has 'benefitted' from a network of companies that has helped him to skirt the laws of the Spanish Tax Agency. It was deemed as tax fraud on the footballer's part even though he may not have been completely aware of it. But prosecutors decided to press ahead with the case. "While it is understandable that a player of this magnitude is not aware of all the details of managing a millionaire," they said "there are elements of a fiscal debt".

Fraud infringement is the serious crime and needs to settle as soon as possible before it becomes more devastating difficult to handle the situation. The court argued that lack of knowledge of the financial network in place should not mean impunity for someone who benefits from a structure that assists fraud, even if it has been designed and organized by others.
