has anybody made any research project in finance...can anyone suggest me the topics that can be considered for startting with the research work in the field of finance.

6 performance evaluation of banks
7 non banking finncial institutions
8 financial analysisi of a company

Is it the price movement or returns??

hi anant1a . u can go in for anything either price movements or risk n returns of different funds of companies. or study the sip plans for different schemes.
 
you can do a sector specific study in mutual funds like the performance of tech. funds or banking funds and do a comparitve analysis of the funds of different AMCs on the basis of their prformance... Risk return methods can be used.
