Marketing Stratagies for Luxury watches

Hi Guys,

I have a project to submit. The question put forward was, "Assume you have 10 million rupees and have to create marketing stratagies for lifting the brand image of the luxury watches like Citizen. What kind of strategies would you go ahead with?????"

You need to check out print ads of rolex.

One of the most talked about campaign of rolex is a series of print ads with affluent leaders like Nehruji among the rest. It was a full page ad where they featured an influential leader every week. The leaders pose was in a natural light and there is a line that described them and there's a rolex logo at the bottom.

The pose also had them wearing a rolex watch which was a popular choice among all hot shots in those days and even now.

The campaign changed the whole image of rolex and when premium watch makers were slashing prices, rolex increased the price post this ad campaign and still did amazingly well.
