New Zealand will tackle Afghanistan in the Group A match of the ICC World Cup 2015 which will be played at McLean Park, Napier on March 8. It will be one of the calm challenges as Afghanistan will confront the hosts New Zealand all alone soil.

This will be the fifth experience for the groups in the competition. Bunch A comprises of England, Australia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Afghanistan and Scotland.

McLean Park, Napier will hold a sum of three matches in the World Cup. This will be the second match which will be played here. Prior on March 4, Pakistan met United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the same ground.

This venue will likewise hold the match between West Indies and UAE which will be played on March 15. New Zealand will be captained by Brendon McCullum while Afghanistan will be driven by Mohammad Nabi.
