Facebook Graph Search - A marketing Strategy or a Stalkers' Arena

Facebook has come up with its new Graph Search which takes the search to a new level. Facebook clearly has hit a bingo for the marketers. Graph Search surely does provide a good medium for social media marketing - but, it also is taking away the tits and bits of personal space which was left on social media.....

As quoted by BusinessWeek, "Facebook makes it trivially easy to search for—things like “Islamic men interested in men who live in Tehran, Iran” (where homosexuality is a crime punishable by death) or “family members of people who live in China and like Falun Gong,” the latter being a religious group whose members are routinely persecuted.
Many of these searches may be figments of Tom Scott’s overactive imagination (at least for now), but the fact is that Facebook’s graph search makes them relatively easy to conduct."

So the question that arises is - "Can the marketers benefit from this search - cause what you liked, followed 4 years back may not even interest you at present!!"....
and, "Personal space on FB - does it still exist??"

I personally think everything we do on facebook is part of marketing in one or other way.The networking and page likes are examples of same. What is good and what is bad depends on personal concensus.
