Does Colleges Matter For doing MBA in long term

Actually Speaking the College matters only go get good start and good opportunity at initial Stage....

But in long run what matters is how u perform. How well u Learn and unlearn and relearn..

But Initially wat comapanies come for Placements in good colleges gives ppl a better Jump Start which one takes time to overcome...
 
for a shortwhile it makes impact on your packages bt in the long run it all depends upon ur calibre n ur enthusiasm...

so.....

in d long run it does nt matter frm where did u do ur mba...
 
No IT DOES NOT MATTER ANYTHING . IT YOU AND YOUR WORK THAT MATTERS IN PROFESSIONAL WORLD NOT ANY OTHER THING
 
Initially yes for placements college matters a lot, if you get good brake but in the long run it is your caliber that matters
 
According to me it does not matter from which coll u r as it totally depends on the individual's capability and caliber how the person takes it
If a a person is smart and brilliant from a unknown institute he/she can end up earning a good package
 
frendz..in my opinion..the college doesnt matter for the long run...coz its experience and the person's knowledge about the work which matters in the long run..!!
 
i feel colege does not matter in long trem.. its ur performance wich gives u success.
but yes it effects a lot in getting ur first placement....
 
I feel its the college tat relli matters in the begining..juz like we wanna wear banded clothes..smilarlily companies wanna students rom gud brand schools

definetly colleges do matter while doing the mba. not only for mba.
today it is necessary that u come from good institution.
 
college matters to some extent.... but finally what counts is the individual's knowledge, calibre, enthu n hardwork... which pays off at the end
 
hello frndss accordind to me it matters in long term bcause these iim are top brands and a person passing from iims he will cash tht brand equity throught out his working carrer
 
i think college name travels with MBA till his end of life if person will Say i am from IIMA and second will say i from ordinary axis B school, view point would be different at first glance. even many companies offerer packages are differently branded college and any new MBA college. once you take entry in industry with low package from ordinary B-school -example 16,000 after six month it would become 26,000 and from branded college entry package would be 28,000 t0 40,000
 
A good college only matters to get your first placement...later its only your work that matters...also probably you are not in a good college but how you utilise your time there...and how you perform there also matters...
 
I do Agree....A B-school is an institute which sharpens ur mind. and develops u as an individual. A Reputed Bschool will bot only have good infrastructure but also gr8 faculty....
 
a good college would only give a head start n probably a better one at that...reaching the same pedestal would only take longer from a not so good college
 
ya obviously it matters initially to get yourself placed in some good firm with respectable package as it kind of makes it easy to get into the corporate world but from then its u n only u .... how u perform, ur total know how et al.... those things count n then the name of ur college vanishes once when u make urself a brand name....
