Do women make better employees?

In the modern era, women are equally professional as men are and in some areas are proving themselves ahead of men.

Hi,
An employee is gauged based on the performance and nt on the gender.

Moreover,we dun't have hard and fast rules to say who is best.It is all based on individual performance.

Many report have suggested that the average concentration span of a woman is alot longer than a mans. This makes them better at production work and jobs that are largely repetative as they are less prone to errors caused by lapses in concentration.

I have a job experience of a year or so and personally I do not feel a difference whether women were better employees at work. The reasons:
  • most top performers in the organization were men
  • although there was 50-50 ratio of men to women
  • kind of job was "not more men suited"
  • the average performers was a equal mix
This said, I believe its more of an attitude towards work that makes the difference. Simple measures like attitude testing through a MBTI would be beneficial and effective in judging the persona of a potential employee and whether he/she would fit the job description.

May or may not be - gender cannot be linked directly to performance, but still many of us very often disagree with the statement that female employees are even equal to their male colleagues - their typical chauvinistic behaviour is evident from the actions like preferring male team-mates over the females - because generally male can do longer hours or take lesser numbers of off etc - have seen even the woman-managers behaving like this.
In short, gender is not the criteria for judging performance.

to be honest, i think it's not about better or not, i think mostly should be regarding, individual contribution is all....

yes woman do make good employes

women have proved them selfes in many ways that they can be good employes n to support this stament of mine here a few example of sussesful women ceo

even i do feel the same, when we say" better" we are actually comparing......
we are comparing women with men in criteria...which is..." good employee".....in terms of efficiency in working ....employee is a generalized word...it could be in any sector or fields....its sth very relative....so i feel gender should not be the criteria to judge employess performance....absolutely not........

In my experience the answer is yes. It all depends on the line of work. Women are genetically different from men and they have different thought processes and usually very different attitudes.

They tend to be more focused, certainly in clerical tasks, (That's not intend to sound Sexist but then I suppose that the question will always lead to that!) and will often work harder to ensure that tasks are completed on time.

no
only women cant make better employees because she always want some help form man in the file of decision making, (she cant take decision without someone help)
so we can say both r important ont only women

In some jobs, women are really outstanding. Take nursing ,forinstance. Women have naturally a more tender, patient and caring heart.
