Do women make better employees?

Fully agree; it is not a question of one gender beign better than the other; it is all about a balance in a team composition.

Yes. They come to office in time and leave in time which makes them better time managers. Overall they have responsibility at home as well.

True. But however it will be lot better if all companies in India allow workers an option to work from home - especially in services company. This is will definitely increase the productivity and reduce the problems occuring in the name of work-life balance.

The human resource manager, Mantrac Uganda Limited, Bittijuma Kizito, says women are more adaptable than men. “With changing times, women have evolved and are getting better at doing what men were doing.

Yes i fully agree with the above said statements that employee should not be judged based on gender but on performance. mother nature has gifted unique qualities to both gender like men are good at logical decisions while women at subjective decisions and women have good observation power compared to women.the best example is housewife.

In today's workplace, efficiency is the buzzword. With women's aptitude for multitasking and handling people, do they make better employees than men?

Women have the ability to add a personal touch to the work they are doing... Their way of functioning and dedication cannot be estimated and surpassed..

But women many a time are undermined because of their physical structure in this so called man's world... Women have it in them as equal as man...

They can do their job as well as take care of their social responsibilities very well...

acc to me entrepreneurship is gender-neutral. It particularly depends on the capability of the individual, dedication and last but not the least positivity towards work.

Still i agree that women are better because they possess various strength discussed below"-

# Women tend to be better than men at empowering staff.

# Women encourage openness and are more accessible.

# Women leaders respond more quickly to calls for assistance.

# Women are more tolerant of differences, so they're more skilled at managing diversity.

# Women identify problems more quickly and more accurately.

# Women are better at defining job expectations and providing feedback.

Its upto the women's will power and their abilities, the organisation environment also plays a big role so we cant say that women have less abilities other than the men

Yes Indeed. With my experience i can say that Women make better managers, they tend to follow processes, do work systematically and can also solve an issue amicably. but when it comes to doing work quickly..in agile environment i think they lack behind men who are more adept at getting work done as quickly as possible

Women are not necessarily better managers than men; nor are men necessarily better than women. There are many reasons why women are capable of managing people better than a man can. This doesn't mean that women are better managers, though. Many managers (men) are lazy, complacent, and unaware. If the implication from the article is that women are better managers because more of them are attending college, it is sorely misguided. Certainly, tools for managing more effectively and efficiently are learned there; maybe even honed to some extent. This is true for men and women though. The notion and realization of better managers is based upon many things, including perspective, and there is much truth to this.
