Career in Marketing..

While I was in school, I started doing door to door marketing for a cosmetics brand and found it interesting. Looking at my marketing experience, suggest how should I proceed further for my bright career.
 
You can choose a career in marketing as it has got vast opportunities related to it. You can expect a fruitful career ahead in marketing.
 
Marketing has various streams, I'm assuming you dont know all of them.

Careers in marketing has a broad division of category into

a.) Advertising
b.) Market Research
c.) Branding
d.) Public Relations

Each of these have further classification and subclassifications.

If I were you, I'd go into ad sales (services) , or b2b sales (High net worth products) and move up the ladder as > Product Manager > Brand Manager > VP > CMO .
 
I am planning to earn online degree besides looking after other responsibilities. What would you suggest about online education? Is it worthy to pursue online degree?
 
Online degree is worthy only if pursued from an accredited university. It’s a good option for those busy with their routine schedules and who can’t commence regular degree.

I am also looking for the same where I can earn my degree while taking care of my other responsibilities alongside. Would you please suggest me some online platform to earn my degree?
 
I am looking to earn online MBA degree in marketing. Would you please suggest me the well recognized university for the same?

Marketing is regarded as the most important element in the growth of any company. Therefore, a career in marketing can be very challenging and rewarding at the same time. While some companies offer the job of marketing after graduation in any stream, with an MBA , B.Com or M.Com, it becomes much easier for getting a job in marketing. Some of the most common corporate positions in the field are- brand manager, marketing manager, market research analyst, new product manager etc. Therefore, it is not difficult to find institutes that offer marketing courses in India.
