boon for sure employs so many people improves our economy gives the uneducated youth a chance to run their houses and support families

Call center industry has been a good scope for India and it is having its contribution in Indian economy although jobs in call center industry are not stable and are based on targets. It is providing employment to large number of youths in the country.Call center industry has been a boom in Indian economy.
Not only call center industry but also whole B.P.O industry is a great source of foreign revenue and employment opportunities for India.

Though it is lot of disadvantages when we weigh the pros & cons of the industry, I could confidently say that it is a boon which will make our per capita income / standard of living better and better.

Call centers are a bane for india. The promise of quick money in the short run deters people long term goals and education which can lead to greater long term and lasting happiness . A temporary job for disposable income is fine

The rise of the BPO industry reflects the phenomenal growth of the service sector. Unlike other Asian countries, the Philippine industrial and manufacturing sectors have been declining while the service sector increased significantly since the 1980s. In fact, half of the country's employed labor force that used to be in agriculture is now part of the service sector.

The Business Processing Association of the Philippines is optimistic about the prospects of the BPO industry. According to its projection, BPO companies will employ more than 900,000 workers and revenues will reach US$12 billion in the next three years.

One of the most important topic and highly intriguing. Well, there are both sides here. Students who needs money and wished to go for call center. Suppose i study in BMM and i don't have money to pay, if i am hard working guy the definitely i would select call center in night, save money and pay my fees and after accomplishing my education search some jobs in media. Well, but the timing of call center is too odd and probability getting addicted to unhealthy habits is more. Easy money it is good but, it has no scope in near future.

good discussion!!!

well i am in favour of call centre from one side. as coin has two side similar is the case of benefits and curse of it.. but the call centre is benefit from the point of view of earning money there are many people whom i know who are not financially sound and needs money so for them its a benefit and easy way to earn out of it..:bump:

there could be a level and even at the age of SSC appeared u can earn easily 7000 in a day shift.. thats a good deal atleast at ssc student can earn

so a boon for them and also one more advantage now a days teenagers do not know the way to speak to elders and by such job their voice changes and being in agood MNc call centre it is urely benefit in persoanlity..

so lets continue the topic....

come on give ur views whatever it may be i want to know it..

waiting

bye
I am agree with you. I think call centres are a boon for Nation's economy. Over three percent of India's Gross Domestic Product comes from the BPO sector. The working conditions given in this industry, particularly in call centres, is excellent. The point that night shifts can impact the biological cycle of a particular person is true to an extent.
