"BAN ON SMOKING" Campiagn..........!!!

I support it, in anyway, it's beneficial to all! Even to the smoker, it's just that sometimes they don't realise it that every ciggi they smoke less, enhances their prospects of leading a healthy lifestyle better...
 
They have already targetted them with high taxes. You cannot ban it altogether since it's a free market. So ideally, you impose social constraints to limit utility - that should bite ciggi companies from all directions.
 
this is the 1st step...but it will only work if the govt. actually follows and enforces this notification in full swing. Which i dont think is going 2 be the situation.
The revenue that the govt. gets from the tobbaco industry is not one which they are likely to forego. So i really dont think this law matterz. If they wanted they could hav targeted the industry directly.
 
In a highly populated country like ours, in order to keep our country green, clean, wealthy and healthy, we need to bring these types of bans on unhealthy and unethical things.

But I have doubt that this ban will be there or not in the future........ coz not a single law is now implemented properly....... and the reason is govt and also the people.........

If smokers dont have value of their lives, they should not waste others' lives by smoking in public places........ If smokers themselves start reducing smoking steadily and will support people, then problem will be solved automatically.

But I would like to suggest Indian govt to ban on Cigarattes and Tobacco manufacturers quickly n not to think about earning money through taxes n all coz its just increasing corruption maong politicians.........

HOPE INDIA WILL BE A SMOKE-FREE NATION ATLEAST IN PUBLIC PLACES IN THE COMING DAYS !!!

N AS FAR AS SMOKING IS CONCERNED I HATE SMOKING ;)

N YA BANNING WONT MAKE A DIFFERENCE THOSE WHO WANT TO SMOKE CAN SMOKE AS PEOPLE VOILATE A LOT A RULES .. BIG DEAL
 
Government should strictly implement this act..
Everybody knows that cigratte is very harmful to the health but still people are doing it..
If the govt does it seriously, then surely there is a chance
 
1st of all the decision made by Union Health Minister is good.... But smoking in PUB is restricted this is a stupidity thing...
 
according to me it doesnt matter.. people who are addicted arent gonna leave it.. and u cant blame the tobacco co. people are employed there and they earn for their living.. its upto the smokers..

as i saw that most of u ve give ur views on BAN ON SMOKING
in my view it is a very good step taken by the govt but how long it will have its importance. it is we people who can make it sucess in our society its not only govt responsibility to control smoking in our country. youth people will have to understand the imp:SugarwareZ-146:ortance of it.
