"BAN ON SMOKING" Campiagn..........!!!

hi this is shoaib
i think smoking should be permenently banned in public places only ...becos if u ban it altogether then the laws are tresspassing over the personal rights and infringing them.........
so stay healthy and think better

dont know if it will work..

it's good that govt. is thinking ablout the nation. but i doubt whether this step will really be implimented and applied.
as far as i have noticed so far. i have hardly seen any reduction in public consumption of cigrettes.
moreover i saw some interiews of chain smokers, when they were asked what will they do now, after the imposition of BAN, they said, we will smoke no matter what. at the max we will have to pay the fine of rs200.
so this shows the mentality of masses.

it will not work much. in India, which is the law which is followed properly???? no one..... same will be the case with this...just policemen will get one more way to make money thats it........:SugarwareZ-197:

the campaign should work... but it won't work in India...
the population is too huge, n the will to uphold the law is scarce...

It seems that Hitler was a smoker in his youth but at some stage he became aware of its health hazards and, when in power (perhaps with the zeal of a convert), appeared to detest tobacco, which he called "the wrath of the Red Man against the White Man, vengeance for having been given hard liquor." But the antismoking campaign reflected "a national political climate stressing the virtues of racial hygiene and bodily purity" as well as the Fuhrer's personal prejudices. The same could be said of Nazi efforts to discourage drinking and encourage a better diet.
