According to some of the statistics that i have read which says the following has shocked me a bit...
"Female managers now earn 81 cents for every dollar earned by male managers according to a new US Government study.
Although that was the headline-grabbing part, the report also addressed two other, equally significant, topics."
In the second topic, the study also reported that women now comprise 40 percent of the managers across all industries surveyed despite making up 49 percent of the workforce.
Is the situation this different, in-spite of accepting equality among men and women then why there lies such indifference as regards payment...??? Is a big question
