Women's are Responsible for the Sexual Assault, Says Susan Brownmiller

Susan Brownmiller, a feminist whose voice adds the value and provide a firm support to the women. Her book Against Our Will: Men, Women and Rape, played a pivotal role to make sexual assault and rape not only women’s issue but also a political issue. In an interview with The Cut, the "feminist hero" says it's unrealistic for women to think they can drink like men and still be safe, I find the position "don't blame us, we're survivors" to be appalling.
When asked that her views could face myriads of criticism and could be interpreted as a victim blaming she said, If you drink you lose your sense of judgement. Everybody knows that... And my feeling about young women trapped in sex situations that they don't want is: "Didn't you see the warning signs? Who do you expect to do your fighting for you?" It is a little late after you are both undressed, to say "I don't want this".
We live in a society which is dominated by a patriarchal system and the attack on women is not new for us. However, there has been a beautiful change of trend and women are given the same prestige and dignity as men. Women’s have the ability to perform a strenuous task with ease and their intelligence is laudable too. But, there are people who reprimand women and try to confine them within four boundaries and treat them as a kitchen appliance. But, such parochial thinking should be stopped and women can dress the way they want and live the life on their terms and conditions.
