Will India be a Developed country by 2020?

it is possible i do agree with shubu but if you just have look on last 5 year govt. stability and i think this govt. also go for next term also so it will make difference and i m sure before 2020 we will be on top list
 
i feel india is surely going to become developed country by 2020. because the way india is moving even though there is recession fear in the world.

with the ever increasing consumer power that india has and which is supposed to increase more.. india will definately be a developed country as far as infrastructure , ammenities.. etc are concerned ... but in matters of rural life development.. making available basic ammenities to ppl frm rural ares asr concerned.... this is still a big question.

yes definately india will become super power by 2020
 
problems at d grass root level need to be evicted and an inclusive growth is required for india to achieve dis by 2020
 
hey friends, even i think that india will be one the developed country till 2010... but can anyone tell me that what is it needed fro a country to be called "DEVELOPED COUNTRY" ?
is it just money or financial power? or is it something else... ????
 
yes, it will be a developed country but taking in to consideration what all efforts our society put in by then.
It depends on each and every individual for taking our country to those heights including me.

i do agree with every body's comments but one thing is more important that we should not forget our duty in helping our nation in the list many times we do corruption because we just have to our work done and give some bribe to concern person if we make discipline in this manner then little things like this then day is not far when we will be on top list and other nations will look at us with respect......
 
As everybody says corruption level should be brought down. This needs a complete awareness of human rights in the soceity and there should be strict laws to stand against corruption to protect individuals who act against it. If you really go back and trace, there is corruption in the current, so called developed countries as well. But corruption is not visible to common public meaning there is no corruption on people's day to day activities.
 
yes agree with u as there r many intelligent people who r born here but they move 2 other existing economically superior countries in search of money. when the people will thnk of our country nd return back thn thr will b a drastic change.
 
yes surely it would be a developed country ....before 2020 if individuals like at | wwwdote4sidotorg/portal/about-us | start taking lead and contribute to development process proactively...
 
Well, I never understand what a devleoped country means...Well US is growing at avg 2% a year and India and China at an avg of 9 and 11 % so india can double their economy in 8 years, where US will take more 36 years to double...the faster growth will induce much transparent system...and better life
