Over the years , social media has emerged and evolved like never before..
There are so many of them- orkut, facebook, linkedin, twitter, myspace, ibibo etc...
Which do you think is the best for a company's marketing and why?
 
Well, Facebook is the best social media networking site among these.. It has got some of the best privacy options on the Internet. It has encouraged using the site to foster relationships with people you already know, or unknown persons. Within hours, we are in touch with our old friends, relatives and acquaintances.

I think for social networking, Facebook is a place to be....
 
Orkut is mainly for the younger generation lower than say 15 years of age..But companies don't prefer it for their publicity and advertising.
The most common social media companies use is facebook because there are many options pffered to a company depending on the cost involved...
 
Facebook!! every 1 is in it, so much of advertisements of so many companies. My mum uses it which i thought would never happen....
 
so you mean to say that Facebook is better than other networking sites.........
But mostly today facebook is used for advertisement...............according to me
 
well i guess Facebook is the best site 4 social networking, that`s b`coz in on time we are in touch with our old friends also with the new one, majority of the youngster use it. Advertising on Facebook should be of companies interest 4 marketing their companies stuff. as more people join in the product will gain more publicity.
 
Best social media networking site is facebook where all you will find mix Crowd, and you get wide area more marketing, but as we go for business view Linkedin is the site where mostly professionals are found.
 
orkut is dead...facebook is best ... i have found lots of my old friends on it
 
I Think Facebook is better and followed by Twitter. However, Tweeter seems for casual sort of lounging where as Facebook has its decency with privacy options etc.
 
Yes,facebook has greater fan following which is proved by survey also.
AND facebook has better privacy and stability.
BUT it is important that it does not get too messy.

I believe Facebook is the best networking site due to its layout and its user-friendly and familiar interface, along with appropriate privacy settings, customization and networking options, features and applications and a hugely established brand name and the world's large presence on the site as part of their identities in the virtual world demanding the importance of having a Facebook profile in society today.

Yes,Twitter has its own distinctive features.
But sometimes,the network gets overloaded,which the facebook guys have managed it quite well until now.
 
I agree that facebook is the best so far due to its privacy setting which allows people of all ages to use it.
 
I think the popularity of social network sites keeps on changes, initially orkut was a fuzz and now i think is facebook. May be something else in future..
