What should be d solution to fight terrorism?

I feel every citizen of india should possess a common ID card, without which all benefits and facilities extended to a common man should not be supported.
This ID card should be fool proof and should carry every minute details of the individual be it birth certificate, driving licence, passport, medical card, PAN card, employement details, travel details etc. His entry and exit to every state should be captured on the card. He should not be allowed to move freely without the card. By doing so we would if not 100% would certainly make some difference and prevent unwanted elements moving within the country.
 
Yes... we salute Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma. Now wat is next??..wat our police is gonna do wit these terrorists who is caught... severe punishment shud b given soon instead of taking care of them fo years in d jail...n finally helplessly releasing them on terrorism activity ground!!!
Macwan... i dont say dat d public shud b carelssly wandering around...n only police shud take care... wat i meant was.. in a busy street how much wud a person notice another person who seems equally normal as we r?? evn if a person is carrying bomb who is sittng next to me in a bus...i wont able to recognise it...in my daily life..we r preoccupied wit our own things.. n dat applies to even u or any1 else..
 
we all indians shud start a group to fight this terrorism.. the group should keep a eye on every thing but also help cops in their work..wat say???
 
@ ABOVE well u hav very emotional take on the subject....

wat i think sud be done is...kill the terrorist @ sight..no interrogation needed...make separate courts for them...implement pota.......strenghten up RAW n other intelligence.
 
yes u r right drishya... normally indians are too good... they dont see othere with dought... mostly we feel the next to us is one of us... and as we have many times said "all indians are my brother and sister" thats the fundamental we have... so always we think the next to us cant harm us..
and as manthan said... we should just fired thos ******... why we should take them to the court for hearing and hearing.. why we should waste time of our honourable judges.. in india there are many pending cases (family matters, disputes matters etc) tell them to clear those cases... but to this terrorist police force and our militry should take action by encounter...
 
ya...after interrogating the terrorists for some more clues... its better to shoot them..b4 they create further problem.. no court hearings
 
thats the problem with democracy.....in democracy if we go on encountering terrorist than the opposition talks abt Human rights n the whole thing bcoms a political issue...........

the best thing india can do to fight terrorism is to have a strong grassroot base where informers should be kept a secret

secondly when a terrorist is caught he should be sentenced to death penalty immediately

well a simple solution is dat we d public need to wake up and do something we are 100 cr public cant we stop dat max 10 lac ppl who are against us we can m sure just it needs a bit of courage we all fear dat if we get into all dis we might suffer and all stuff

I feel we as a Nation need to stand together and help police and every1 we need to provide each and every small info we get etc den only we can have a terrorist free world
 
business, it is the way by which we can fight the terrorism, every one know that with out food no one can survive his/her life and fight only for food
give him more job by which they are not able to think about what is terrorism,make them always busy, utilise mind in +ve way
automatically without manpower nothing is going on in this world and every one enjoy his life
 
one of the possible solution is to stop balming the government , the police and start beahving really like a responsible citizen..we have a nature of just ignoring what others are doing...if we something unusual we just ignore it and pass by rather calling the police..we have to take up the responsibility of our own lives safety in our own hand.. the police can only be present at some place they cant be at every next step to check the security...we should also keep our eyes and ears open and leave the attitude of just let it be ...
 
So far I have realisd that the system is the key..(that includes attitude as well). If you care for your children, as a parent you always keep an eye on them, watch them and eventually safeguard them..
I now live in London, though have spent most of my life in Delhi..This gives my an insight to the way the system works and the possible differences in it.
So the answer according to me is "WATCH" your people.
 
We have RAW, IB, Anti terrorist squad, and other agencies to counter terrorist. But....we fail to do. Reason is Everyone is working on their one. there is no cordinaton or cooperation between the agencies in information sharing, action to be taken, and follow up.

We need to tackle this first. All agencies should cooperate by making them to come under one ministry and one person specifically cordinating all these agencies.

We need to use advanced technologies like weapons identification radar. in all major cities, CCTV, and even more technologies.

We need to track every movement of vechicles by the use of modern technologies and Radio frequency identification is also helpful in fighting against terror.

:SugarwareZ-188: Nothing’s going to work for India, if we do not have accountable, responsible and immaculate government for the cause for terrorism lays deeply nit with it. The country should stand up to religious fundamentalism and rouge (having a criminal back ground) politicians to bar them from our democracy. That will lay a sound foundation to fight terrorism in our country. :SugarwareZ-022:
 
It is a joint responsibility of the Government and the people of India to protect our mother nation and ourselves. When something happens...the public blames the govt.. and all the govt does is realeases money to the victims.. no strict meaasures are taken to tackle the big menace....

I guess improving the laws of the country will help a great deal... all terrorits should be killed at will as they kill us... (the mumbai terrorist kasab is still alive.. i fell like killing the b****d)...A Wednesday was a clear example of what should be done to these people!!
