WHAT AFTER BMS ?

hmm... i agree to your point on financial backing ... but you got to have experience ... start small.. grow big ... thats the way it has to be ...

I feel a job should not be the aim of a Bms grad . A venture is what we are trained for.. else whats the use of learning soo many subjects like ec and ssm and Mssi .. etc

Everything that we do has hurdles.. its all about making choices , not giving up and emerging out as a success :lol:

Chal you tell me 10 Buss or say 5 buss that can be started with least investment and after BMS.

Its good man but not that easy.
 
Well, Nothing is easy .. and as you pointed out earlier.. everything is on hopes..

As for 5 businesses... i wud like to answer this one. ... coz many of us would have the mindset of setting up a business but just dont know which one to..

As far as my thinking goes.. if its innovative and if its useful .. it sells.

5 businesses ..here it goes :

1.) Tea cafe's <-- Read JAM mag for more details

2.) Chai patti logistics

3.) SSI of garments, Manufacturing of a printed t-shit costs less than 30 rs .. if the punch line and graphics of T shirts r good.. they r bound to sell... eg: NO FEAR t's most of d collg crowd show of on..

4.) Carrer counselling

5.) Management consulting .

6.) **** Cant disclose it man.. thts my own innovative idea kept aside for myself.. you will see the launch and the results for yourself in a few yrs 8-)

Please note : The investment is considerable but not that huge .

I liked the idea of Career councelling and even i planned before as i already counsel people on careers and related stuff..... But onli thing i need is contacts which i dont have much, so i m planning to join any institution and working there as a career councellor... Now hope i get that atleast.

Hmmmm No. 6th idea??? kya hian bhai... Atleast pm me. I wont start re really.
 
Buddy, If you want i can give u d no of divisional hr manager of mumbai of IMS . .. You can start giving it a try by joining there.. i was offered 10k starting pay for counselling .... else directly go to d bandra main office of carrer launcher ..

I thnk tht wud b a better way to reach your destination .. 8)

My friend in HR college had a seminar by a young entrepreneur who started making Puja kits.. It was really inspiring to know how he went about it, with capital of just 3 lakhs and now his turnover is about 10 crores..

In fact after tasting success in Diwali Puja kits, he's preparing for Wahan Puja kits (Vehicle)... so im very inspired for starting up something new...

after BMS international CFA would be worth doing.

one can also do side by side courses offered by NSE i.e. the ncfm exam modules.

well there is no comparision between a normal course and a distance course...... there is a lot more to learn from a regular mba course.............

yes a MBA TAG is in fashion now a days , well if u get thru top 5 colleges ur life is set if not take up a job n do distant MBA , dnt even waste time in part time, the TAG is all tht matters, u hv wasted lots of ur time in BMS n ur past education NOW its time to make sme mullah!

well now that i went to almost all of d post's here i feel most of us are only interested in doing MBA only hv diff views on it lik distant or work experience but d actual thing seems to b left behind i feel there should b more options to get into PR or somethin related to media after our ty ........

CAT is not the big daddy . how can any 1 judge a person on the basis of this CAT & CET exams tht a persn can do MBA . a person who is weak in maths but very good in marketing just losses his opporunity to do MBA jst for the fact tht he is weak in maths.I don't feel tht CAT and CET types of exam shld be the basis of assessing students. a bumb bookish person passess CET&CAT who doesn't have ny knowledge whts going on in this world ans passess GD & PI by doing some courses.and persn who is realy very intelligent can't excel in life jst coz of ths stupid entrance exams.

i think everyone should take a break of 1-2 year's after t.y.b.m.s ,who wants to do mba . this will give an extra time for job experience and for study cat,an on language , group debate. by this way they can crack cat and can get admission in good institution .....................what u say ?

no i guess u dont actually know this exams, this aint a bookish person's job at all as even i am preparing for CAT& CET, its not at all that easy, d person behind this exams is to check ur presence of mind, how quickly u solve a problem, there have always been cases were a dumb does good and a bookish doesn't..

well it seems to be a good decision though u know every individual cant or doesn't prefer to take a break, apart from this, is a solution anyways again for MBA but the question was wat after BMS???

a sectoral course in management can also be one of the options. Recently I have been talking about Enterprise Management and Entrepreneurship, Rural development management and lastly Management of NGO. :SugarwareZ-090:

I refer these courses as they were in my college ICECD ahmedabad POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSES

hey guys hiii...

i got kt in sem 6. n m doin clsses for cet ritenw. i really wanted to do mba. infact i wanted to mk ma career in hr. i want to do specialization in training and devlopment. currently m totally blank n very much in confusion abt ma career. hv many questions in mind. i dont like finance. i thnk its nt ma cup of tea. should i do the mba or shuld look frwrd for sum othr line. if yes can nyone suggest me whch line vl b suitable for me. can i get sum better job with this qualification. m very much depressed wid ma result n need a right guidence for ma future. plzz guys is thr nyone who can help me out.. plz guide me on this matter.
