West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) conducts an admission test West Bengal Post Graduate Homoeopathy Admission Test Examination (WBPGHAT) each year for the selection of candidates for the MD Homeopathy course offered by various Homeopathic Colleges in West Bengal. The duration of the MD Homeopathy course is three years. It gives a chance for the candidates in West Bengal for pursuing a Post graduate degree in Homeo Medicine.

Structure of WBUHS MD (Hom) Entrance test

The admission of the candidates for the MD Homeopathy courses is on the base of a written test. The entrance test includes questions of two papers. There are 100 objective type questions are there in the question paper. The time given for the exam is eighty minutes. The test is to assess the knowledge of the candidates in the subjects studied in their BHMS course curriculum. Those who secure 200 marks in the written test will be selected for joining the course. The SC/ST candidates have to secure only 160 marks for getting admission for the course.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have a Bachelors Degree in Homeopathy are eligible for applying for the WBUHS MD (Hom) Entrance test. The candidates must possess a Registration Certificate from the Central Council of Homeopathy or State Council of Homeopathy. The candidates should have completed their one year internship after the BHMS course. The candidates who can complete their internship before the admission time are eligible for applying for the test.

How to Apply?

The candidates can submit the application form through the website WBUHS - THE WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES. Then the candidates have to take the print out copy of the application form and send the filled form to the West Bengal University. The candidates have to send a demand draft of Rs.1000/- from a nationalized bank in favour of The West Bengal University of Health Sciences examination controller with the application form.

How to fill the Form?

The form should be filled by the candidates by following all the instructions in the admission booklet. The candidates have to take the print out copy of the online application form and fill it correctly. The photograph of the candidates must be affixed in it. The photocopy of the Identity card must be attached with the application form. The demand draft of the exam fee must be enclosed with the application form. The candidates have to make sure that the form should reach the institute before the final date for it. The form should be received only by Speed Post or Registered Post.
