As Food Bazaar does not have a production plant of its own, and as it only markets the products at various outlets under its brand name “Food Bazaar”, the items have to be sourced from various manufacturers.
We can shake hands or have dealings with the vendors as we have for the other private label products like Salt, Pickles, Masalas etc.
Shortcoming:
There is a shortcoming in this area. As Food Bazaar will only be marketing the products under its private label by sourcing various items, we will have to share the idea of introduction of various items in which we could be the trendsetters.
However as the feasibility of the production of many of the items is to be seen, and as we do not have the technical team to develop new formulas nor is it feasible enough to set up a production plant, we have to go forward with this method of sourcing only.
