Use long term investment approach, say experts
With the markets behaving the way they have, the last few days have been interesting for the brokerages. Avinash Gorakshakar, Head PCG Research at Emkay Share & Stock Brokers and Shrinath Mithanthaya, Head PCG at Motilal Oswal Securities share the advice that they have been offering to their clients of late.
Taking a patient investment approach, Gorakshakar says that they have been telling people to stick to their investment calls. “Primarily on the trading space, people who are either long in derivatives or stock futures we have been telling them to take it easy because whenever the market gives an opportunity of a correction we have been advising people to basically bet around on investment calls because these are typically about 12-month calls.”
Shrinath Mithanthaya has been advising clients to buy Blue Star and Navneet Publications, as he feel that both these companies have great potential in the forward-looking economic scenario.
