University of Delhi M.Sc Computer Science Entrance Test is an entrance exam conducted by Delhi University for the selection of suitable candidates for the MSc Computer Science course offered by various institutes under the University. Delhi University is one of the most prestigious Universities in India. M.Sc Computer Science examination is conducted by Department of Computer Science under Delhi University. The duration of the course is two years. Large number of candidates applies for the test each year.

Structure of University of Delhi M.Sc Computer Science Entrance Test

For getting admission for the M Sc courses offered by Delhi University the candidates have to attend for a written entrance test. The written entrance test consists of two papers. The time allotted for the test is two hours. The first paper consists of objective type format and second paper includes descriptive type questions. The questions are mainly to evaluate the candidates’ knowledge in the subjects of Computer Science and mathematics. There are four alternatives provided with each questions. The candidates have to select the correct answer from the alternatives.

Eligibility Criteria

The main requirement needed for the candidates for getting admission for the MSc in Computer science in Delhi University is to complete the Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or B Sc Mathematics or B Sc Physics with Computer Science as an optional subject with minimum 60% marks. The candidates must obtain the degree from Delhi University or from any recognized University. The SC/ST candidates have been provided with 5% relaxation.
 
The interested candidates can obtain the application form directly from the Faculty Of Science Office in Delhi university in New Delhi against the payment of the cost of the application form. The cost of the application form is Rs.800/-. Those who intend to buy the application form have to send a crossed bank draft of Rs.800/- and a request letter in a self addressed envelope to the Registrar of Delhi University. The SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs.400/-.The bank draft should be taken from State Bank of India only. A postage stamp of Rs.30 should be pasted in the envelope.

How to fill the Form?

All the details for filling the application form should be given in the exam booklet or in the University website. The data entered in the form must be correct and the form must be filled by the candidate itself. The photograph of the candidate must be affixed in the application form. The crossed bank draft should be attached along with the application form. The filled form must be forwarded to the concerned University before the last date.
