It all depends on a lot of things, television brings us knowledge at a great convinience, if we are not interested in a subject then we can simply flick through the 300+ channels the to find one that we like and may learn something from, with books its not so easy, unless you have thousands of books on different subjects to choose from. Also with teklevisions it depends on the direction, the narrator and the editor, what is presented and how, same goes with books and the writer. So the topic is debatable, One is for sure though that they both offer a good source of knowledge, although one would agree that majority of todays programmes are junk.
