Television is better than books.

television can never be better than books its just crisis of time that evolves the television era and trying to see things rather than reading is always better to feel. so cheers one day books will eradicate from this worlds and television will be their in the form of books.
 
Television has its advantages over books as it is an audio visual medium and there are many channels through which knowledge on different facets can be enhanced. Whether it be the National Geographic, Discovery, Animal Planet or News Channels, they all add to our knowledge in a creative way.
 
i think television completes the picture, literally. books are good on their own but television complements books...but then again nothing can replace a good book on a long journey...nope mini DVD players do not count. moreover books allow you to engage your OWN imagination...my 2 cents
 
ye stellivision is better than books because what u see u remember more than what u read and secondaly in this presr\ent world with new knowledgeable channels channels coming up its quite benifical for young teenagers
 
I think both of them have benefits, and they can't be compared. TV has effect on two senses at the same time - seeing and hearing - and your brain take the information very easy. In term of books you have to rely on your own imagination.
 
Well, personally, I think, Television IS better than books! It takes ages for me to read a book, which most of the cases, books make me fall in my sleep much better, however, Television is another story though...it can keep me on and on, until there is no more program on the show anymore.
You gain a lot of knowledge through television, which we call it "efficency" is much better than the books!
 
Television provides with easier access to information whereas books provide more relevant information. Both have their advantages and utilities. It is difficult to tell which is better without determining the factor(s) of evaluation
 
So long you are not addicted to any kind of Reality Show (star, Zeee, color etc..) then TV is the best source of knoweldge. its is faster than any other media.
so if you are careful in selecting the channel e.g Discovery / or any other channel which could give u news/information in real sense. then its good.

I think that both television and books have their own relevant utilities.we may not get every information from the television and vice-versa.but i can say that books have more impact than television..wen you are watching a television we have vision , sense of sound and vocal conversations..so we are just hearing the things-hence we just see what we like or which seems to be interesting..but in case of book reading..we read each and every word keeping all our senses calm and having concentration on a single topic..so that every aspect is activated to our brains...
