Video Music Award leads to myriads of controversy and catfights this year; Nicki Minaj had a heated argument with Taylor swift and reprimanded her on twitter for taking her spot at VMA award show. “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year,” she then expressed her angst feeling on Twitter. Swift interpreted that the message was poking a finger at her and she had prep a perfect answer. “I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot,” the 25-year-old responded.
The differences between Taylor swift and Nicki Minaj had been the talk of the town and the extra flavored was added in the debate when Katy Perry charged Taylor swift with lashes of words. A day after Swift and Minaj had a heated argument over the raptress’ MTV Video Music Award nominations, the “Roar” hitmaker took to twitter to seemingly criticise Swift, reported Ace Showbiz. “Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalises on the take down of a woman…,” Perry wrote.
Well, but on the day of an award function, all this fight seems meaningless and the duo, Nicki Minaj and Taylor swift burnt all their clashes into the ashes and hugged each other with warm affection and love. The sly Pop superstar Taylor swift won four awards including best female video and best pop video for Blank Space.
