1. Employee strength of above 3000. 2. Total number of branches in Japan is 150 and 20 loan plazas. It also has foreign branches. 3. The bank is the first bank in Japan to launch an ATM that doesn’t need a card, it can be accessed by the customers by placing their palms, only PIN and DOB required. Strength 4. Is among top 500 most valuable banking brands in the world.
1. Lacks the physical branch existence in other prefectures of Japan. Needs to expand in other areas of the country as well. 2. The bank has no strategic alliances to boost up its loan books and profits. Weakness 3. Credit rating is BAAA which is not very good.
