Steps to a Successful Career Change

Evaluate your current job satisfaction. Keep a journal of your daily reactions to your job situation and look for recurring themes. Assess your interests, values and skills through self help resources like the exercises in What Color is Your Parachute. Brainstorm ideas for career alternatives by discussing your core values/skills with friends, family, networking contacts and counselors. Conduct a preliminary comparative evaluation of several fields to identify a few targets for in depth research. Read as much as you can about those fields and reach out to personal contacts in those areas for informational interviews. Identify volunteer and freelance activities related to your target field to test your interest. Investigate educational opportunities that would bridge your background to your new field. Consider taking an evening course at a local college. Spend some time at one day or weekend seminars. Try and enhance your skills and abilities so that you don’t lack behind in things that the world knows and you don’t. It is fair enough to consider alternative roles available in your career paths in the similar industry, that would grasp your knowledge and even you would be able to apply you skills affectively. At the end getting job wherein you get to do what you know and are capable of doing is what everyone wants.

Discipline in oneself is also another important component which contributes to the success rate of an individual.

For example, sacrificing some personal time to do initiatives

Action is the ‘hands and legs’ part of your 3 critical success factors. It is the ‘do’ part of it.

Once your mind is convinced that you can do it, nothing is impossible. Hence believe in one and believe in what you do and your actions.

It is said nothing moves until you do so, hence action is a must. For success to be achieved action is a must.

Strive with your commitment and your determination, now you know where to look to find what you need to fix. It is not necessarily a flaw in your personality if your commitment and determination is a problem. Without self-love and self respect you are more likely to be an irresponsible dreamer rather than a person taking responsibility for your own life and go for your dreams. Positivity and negativity is oposite poles. The univarsal laws tell us that like energy attract like energy. If you believe sceptisism is being more realistic than those with an optimistic and positive nature, you are dead wrong. Research has shown that people who are tense and stressed are the least creative. When your mind is relaxed it has the capacity to reveal it’s potential simply because of the harmonious vibration which is released in a state of physical ease. When you learn, and practice, to look for positive aspect in any situation that might be present in your life, then you are well on your way to success and abundance. If you want to be successful always look to “simplify”. When you are working on a plan and it seems to be getting too complicated, it’s simply means that you are on the wrong track. Thoughts vibration feelings are more important than any action you will ever take. You need to attract it through your thoughts and feelings. Align your vibration with the task at hand, remove any trace of negativity in your vibration, and then work on the inspired idea that comes to your mind. When you approach any situation in this manner, success is guaranteed.
