SHOULD SACHIN TENDULKAR RETIRE ???

Cricket is abt team not individual players... Sachin playing 2011 wc just coz its in Inidan Sub continent is stupid..n i agree dat wen Sachin plays our team has higher level of confidence..but when he fails whole team falls like house of cards..n off lately Sachin is not performing well..affecting team morale...

INZAMAM-UL-HAQ also made his debut in 1990 at the age of 20...and he also retired in World Cup 2007........

but, SACHIN TENDULKAR made his debut at international level at the age of 16 in 1989...........

So Lara & Inzamam's overall span of time in cricket (in odis) is 17 years........and sachin's span of time also is 17 years (1989-2007)..........

So taking into consideration these statistics, he can't play for a long time now.............forget about playing in next world cup 2011 which will be held in Asia...........but for himself, Sachin should retire...........there is not yet replacement for him in India but indian cricket will get one player like sachin in future....hope so....

He had vast contibution to indian cricket for 17 years.....................because 17 years playing the one game with injuries coming in between - it's not an easy job !!!

no i dont think so ......no one in the history of world cricket has the calibre that sachin has .....so let sachin decide whether he should retire or not
 
he shouldn't !!!
still has got more milestones to reach
so that he can stay always at the top and no one can ever dream of
reaching close to him

centuries - 40 + in odi's is not a simple achievement
it needs consistent practice,focus,determination
only at this point of time , we need to support

A genius in cricket should end his career with a grand style and he should announce his retirement rather than situations forcing him to do so !!!!

according to me, sachin tendulkar should not retire
1st he being a mature person among the all yougster help them to motivate and build their confidence.he a background of whole cricket team..
he know all techniques about the pitch every trick on batting and googly bowling

i certainly dont feel sachinmshould retire as he has time and again prove what a maestro he is with the bat. also his experience in a relatively fresh side counts and ulike sachin and dravid he has been a consistent performer

As the adage goes, all good things come to an end retirement of our dear sachin is also eminent, but we should not forget that he is the best player of recent generation and one bad seies and we should not vie for his retiremant because we may not able to see player like him in our life
 
he should take voluntary retirement... coz agar ek raja ko aap dhakke deke uske mahal se bahar fenk do ge (becoz his inability to serve in better way praja)...to uska kya maan rahega... kuchh nahi!!!!
so i personally request to sachin... pls pls pls give chance to new people and take your seat in pavallion with senior cricketers and cheers up to our youngsters.... best of luck

it high time we sud close this thread with a conclusive statement....otherwise ppl will continue to post....with 140 + post we shud be closing the debates...or sud be decidind on certain no of post...moderators pls think abt it.............
