Should ragging in colleges be banned?

Ragging and Sledging different from sledging. Well, a little bit of Sledging is good. Ragging in India should be banned because students disguise in their ego attire and ragging becomes harassing and that is a big concern. Ragging is bad if you misused it but, little bite ragging means minimal helps to build bondage among students, but it should be minimal.
 
I think ragging has already been banned but still it is doing by some of the students in many colleges. Ragging should be allowed only to the introduction level of freshers to know each other in a very formal way. Today due to number of dirty minded people the actual meaning of ragging has changed.
 
yes definitely it should be banned in colleges because many students treat freshers students roughly n rudely....that they don't deserve.....ragging should be introduce in an extent way....Senior students must follow the rules n they must help their junior rather than punish them
