Should Parents allow their child to choose their own carrier as per their choice?

Parent can allow the child to select their interest or passion. This way with a little encouragement from the parents, always the result will be more positive.
The film 3 idiots is a very good example for this.
 
It depends on the maturity level of the child. When the child is ignorant in choosing his career, it is the responsibility of the parents to guide them.
 
they should let the children decide their careers.. that way they would be more motivated to reach their dream/passion.. but of course proper guidance should still be present..
 
Yes parents should allow their child to choose their own career because if the child opts a career which he is not interested in so obviously his grades will be affected as his interest towards that curriculum is lacking...The field of career forms the base for the future progress of the child in life...If child is given the freedom of career choice he will obviously take interest in studying the subjects and will take extra interest in researching more information related to that field. so please let your child pursue the career of his choice...
 
yes I feel that parents should allow children to choose their own career.It is also better to get complete knowledge on related subject.If they choose as their own,they can concentrate on their career.
 
100 %. I totally agree with this issue but, usually what happens during exams student are in so much pressure and in that they always choose the career which they regret. Usually students go with the flow and get slipped . Parents should guide their students and make them realize about their feeling and what they want to achieve in life. :SugarwareZ-195:
