Should Parents allow their child to choose their own carrier as per their choice?

I strongly believe in the fact that choosing your own carrier path is important, even if you find out after a few years that it's not really what you expected. In that way, you take a responsible choice and you assume your acts.
To be happy in life, you have to do what you want and what you like, starting with your job. If you don't have the choice, when the child grows, he'll find out that it's more a weight and he's not really "acting" actively in his life. We don't want to regret at that point of view.
Meanwhile, you can always change path and start all over again ! Who cares ?
 
children should be allowed to choose their own career.its better that parents should not interfere it will be better if they can give their suggestions.

parents should allow their child to do whatever he or she wants...so that they can njoy d learning process and working environment too if they get to learn what interests them..!

Yes they should as parents are not always fully aware about actual ground realities of the courses and depend upon references from known persons

Yes I think parents should be the ones chose carriers for their own children because your parents always know whats best for you.
 
it should be left to the child whatever field he/she pursues....most of the fields and subjects have emerge recently and parents may have no idea abt them..u may disagree with this.
 
Yes Definitely the parents should allow their children to choose their own career. However they should help the child find out a suitable career by properly weighing the pros and cons of each career and be their guiding star. The interest of the child should be given preference over the whims and fancies of the parents.

There are many individuals who eventually make a career in a field which is quite different from their education qualifications. Would've helped if they were guided scientifically earlier.

definitely yes!! A child should have full rights in deciding his career path whereas parents should play a vital role in realizing and building thier dreams by supporting them.
 
Today's generation is very advanced and there are so many opportunities so everyone should have the right to decide their own path and career. Even if one fails or it goes wrong, one will always learn and realize what will work for him in the long run and since there are so many opportunites one will never be left out.
