Should Computers Replace Teachers

this issue is useless

Replacing computers with teachers is similar to replacing Fruit juices with water. Both are necessary and eliminating any of them will definitely disbalance the whole equation.

although we think that computers cannot replace teachers in entirety, i think it is inevitable. e-learning is the new order of the day...

computer cannot replace teacher but assist teacher.
if you have a computer, it cannot teach, you still need a teacher to program the computer, right? so it cannot replace teacher.

Hi,

Even i would say NO to it.

Human brain cannot just learn from computers alone. That is why people join tutions or classes which have good qualified teachers.

Also i would say that even for learning computers, we need teachers. So a big example of importance of teachers...

i agree with all you guys that Computers Cannot replace Teachers...
but in today's world computers play an important role in education for a student...
In today's world each and everyone of us spends a lot of our time sitting on the computers learning something or the Other...

Learning Through computers is done where a student has to learn and educate himself most of the time...

This way a student comes to knw what is his actual capability and how much he can concentrate and learn himself.

No Doubt that for learning any new thing you need a teacher but thn Computer itself teaches you many things... A computer helps you learn and educates about the latest things happenning all around the world,

Today we as management students need the help of Internet and computers almost everywhere in out projects.

Today by learning more and more of Computers we like to stay a step ahead of our competitors...

Computers helps us educate a lot but thn too,

The Punchline would always be that "Computers Cannot Replace Teachers'...

coz computers 'll ultimately teach wat their feeders had put into them....so the ultimate source of their information r those teachers only...

in my opinion.........computers cant replace teachers...........................

but teaching can be done computerised...(i mean interseting...using games as the tool)..

computers are not so important. The content which is fed in and the program use to present content is more important. To some extent it can replace teachers of today in the schools who just read the text books(that is the reason students join tution classes). The examination could also be conducted through computers which is possible now a days. The parents and school could monitor students progress through softwares sitting anywhere in the world. More and More institutes in india today are going in a e-learning mode. The concept may not fully replace the teachers but one teacher could at a time address to many students sitting anywhere globally through v-sat learning technologies or video conferencing through internet. Future is not so far.... lets wait and watch

Computers can be effective tools for helping students learn academic subjects, but young people will always need human teachers to provide moral guidance and social development. Computers provide students with information, but only teachers can teach children to think critically, discriminate among sources of information, and be creative. Computers certainly cannot help students with the difficult topics....

big no from ma side...
teacher cant b replaced by a comp...
a teacher has dat experience dat comp doesnt hav...
