<h2>Sally Ride, First American Women to travel in space, honored by Google Doodle</h2>
Sally ride is an inspiration and role model for determined women’s. On June 18, 1983, she became the First American women to travel in space. On her 64th birthday Google honored her, with an amazingly and innovative animated Google doodle. She was not just an inspiration but aspire myriad of women’s to take step forward in the field of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). Gravity is a film based on astronaut’s and how they face problems, which we can’t just think off. Astronaut scrutinizes every minor detail to carry on their research; even minor mistakes can create big loop holes.
According to O’Shaughnessy, Ride said, “Everywhere I go I meet girls and boys, who want to be astronauts and explore space, or they love the ocean and want to be oceanographers, or they love animals and want to be zoologists, or they love designing things and want to be engineers. I want to see those same stars in their eyes in 10 years and know they are on their way”. She always tries to encourage women’s, in choosing math’s and science as a career. Sally created history because; she had that spark in her and passion to fulfill it. After leaving NASA, she became the director of the California Space Institute and professor of physics at the University of California at San Diego.
She had that zest and dedication to pursue her dream. She also concisely stated that, it doesn’t matter what you decide to become, just be focused, determined and don’t allow your dreams get slipped. Women’s are not just home appliances and made for kitchen, they are more talented, smart and accomplish their job with more perfection; this statement is concisely justified by Sally Ride.
