Retail Management

guys, i URGENTLY need some help regarding my summers project.i am doing the project in big bazaar and i am suppose to do a competition analysis (have to analyse their competitors in that catchment area).i would really appreciate any help that comes my way.thanks.
 
I would suggest you to use the Micheal porters competetive analysis or 5 force model. This will help you to simplyfy your analysis and give you the factors you need to consider for competetive analysis

For a feasibility report you need to consider the following points:

1. What kind of restaurant you wanna open?
2. Doing a Market Analysis of the area, like which are all the current restaurants and what is their average bill size, how many tables and chairs u goona have i.e. how big you wanna open the restaurant.
3. Financing
4. Licensing i.e. if in maharashatra u need to have Shop and establishment license.
5. Which market you wanna enter i.e. niche market, or the local market.
6. Innovation - what r u going to offer that others dont have in that area?

7. Break Even : When r u gonna achieve this.

8. Long term Plans?
