REMAKE OF MOVIES SHUD THEY B STOP OR NOT.

remake is a shortcut to ones inability to be creative, further we've been known for originality and not rip offs hence we should discourage this.
 
IN my opinion... remake of movies are good to some extend.. Even though if you look at past records of remakes most of them didnt work out just because they were not properly executed... but if you look at good directors who have tried their hand on remakes and have been successful.. like sanjay leela bhansali did a wonderful job with devdas and same way farhan akhtar was also successful with DON.. one good thing these remakes do for those classic movies is.. it brings awareness to the new generation about those good old movies and keeps those movies in the minds of even the gen X
 
hi .... i think remake of movies is fine, but it should not be of the flims which are block busters of the 70's or the 80's ( as sholay, deewar,don,karz) since these are the films which even people of our generation have watched a number of times. Instead i feel that those movies which are older and were big hits of their time should be remade Devdas is a very good example of this since it is a remake of a bimal roy classic but still it made a mark, since a very few people of our generation have watched the older version.Moreover there is ample room for creativity in the remakes of the flims which are really old because of the time frame .
 
guys tell me one thing wats the use of seeing the old movie which we have already seeing with just some new modifications. Take an eg for this situation. 2 movies release - 1 is a remake of an old block buster which we have already seen many times & the other is having an altogether a fresh script. Which one would the majority of the people go for. Obviously the new one since most of us have not seen it at all. sO more the script is new more it's chances to be a blockbuster
 
dis may not b olwyz true.....tk for xample DON starin SRK.wznt it a remake bt still it wz a success.so ppl do go 4 remake too.n i dont agree wid d pt dat remaks dont hv creativity.evn i wud say dat it has a lot of creativity even more den a new film bcoz 4m director to producer,its a challange to remake a muve to meet ppls xpectations.thus makin it mre intrestin and modern.
 
i think remake of movies should really be stopped...cuz it leaves no originality...wats d point of seeing d same movie agn...n wen it is portrayed in a manner worse than d previuos classic

Remaking of movies hampers the image of the one making it... Cause people expect the remake to be better or similar to the original...The acting skills of the actors in the new movie are questioned since people compare them with the original acting.... This way both the director looses income and the actors too don't make an impact on the public...
 
No need to stop remakes - as long as a sizable market exists. After all, what they are doing is just (re)making movies...not forcing audience to see the movies. The day people will get bore of these - remaking or re-remaking too would stop.
