REMAKE OF MOVIES SHUD THEY B STOP OR NOT.

i think remakes should not b allowed unless there is a significant addition of creativity. Nowaday, we get too many movie-remakes without really having any addition to their original versions.

well wht i think is remake sud not be there..
s originals r originals n again they r milestones.
n young actors sud not even get ready for remake..
they had their own style so work on it rather than copyin any one..
 
i dont know y ppl opt 4 remakes hve they dumped their brains somewhere or is it the lack of creativity. I thnk ppl are becoming lazier day by day and they want easy money so the best thing to do is get an old story and present it in a new avatar and if its a hit then bingo the formula works lets continue it and mke it a trend isn't??
 
When you have lack of creative ideas... then remake the classics...so whether south film being remade in Hindi...old classics being re-modelled in present times...it speaks less of the Indian Cinema think tank to be copying and remaking old stuffs!

yes the remake is good ,coz if the remake has that quality to generate intrest and revenue frm public it must be encouraged
 
Remake is an indication that they lack fresh ideas and originality.:SugarwareZ-249:
They lack all the essence of a good movie.
The directors and producers prefer to adopt the tried and tested formula.
Movies like Don, Umrao Jaan cannot be replaced, as the genius that is behind it can never be reproposed.
Its absolutely unfair, this shows that with so much of advancement today also people r'nt ready to shed their own talent and come up with fresh and new ideas.
Instead of remakes why not encourage young writers who may even bag an award. :thumbsup:
 
Not all remakes have been successful since people compare the original creation to the latest one. An original will always remain an original. A remake spoils the nature of the original... only a few survive...
 
I think remake of hindi movies is a waste of time n money. However i support remaking of hollywood movies by bollywood (in hindi) as English movies contain new stories unlike hindi love stories which are mostly on same script or love based.
Audience needs to change their tastes and ideas shud b taken from english movies.
