Channels of distribution
One way in which “Quench-It” shall be distributed is through wholesalers, who in turn will supply retail stores in the areas they serve. The gum shall be transported almost entirely by trucks to the wholesalers from our factories or warehouses located in various cities. For chain stores or cooperative groups, “Quench-It” shall be supplied to their warehouses, then distributed to the member stores.
At the consumer level, “Quench-It” shall be sold in such outlets as food, drug, variety, convenience and confectionery stores, medical stores and chemists. Vending machines are another important aspect of the retail distribution system. These machines will serve the public in places where retail stores are not present.
For convenience, vending machines shall be located in factories, airports, and bus and railway stations. Probably no other product is available to the consumer in so many different locations as our chewing gum. Its popularity shall also make it a desirable item for the retailer to keep on display.
The modest price of chewing gum means almost everybody can afford to buy it and, with a small investment, the retailer can keep a good stock of ”Quench-It” on hand.
