I am Professor K.Prabhakar. My specialization is Operations Research and Quantitative Techniques. I teach International Business. I am passionate about Brain and its funcitons and Theory of Multiple Intelligences. If i am of some use to the member of this excellent team, i will be very happy. I am little formal in my writing due to my age and training. All members, espcially children doing MBA need not so formal with me.

I on behalf of MP, welcome you to this group of dynamic managers of tomorrow, and would be grateful for the time you spend on the forum giving your inputs.

Do let us know about your brain studies. I was contemplating with another professor friend of mine to write a book on Neuro Marketing in the Indian Context with special focus on FMCG.

To give you short introduction, am a management graduate with masters in Economics. I have also had the experience of teaching at the graduate level at couple of colleges on visiting faculty basis. My primary job involves managing activities of a Marketing Research organization based in Santacruz.

It is great pleasure knowing young managers like you. i have recently ( on 1st Jan,2006 presented a paper at IIM(A) on Intelligence Tests with focus on Theory of Multiple Intelligences. I am just finding methods to upload the paper. However, If you send me a mail, I will send it as an attachment.MY email address is [email protected]. Please go ahed and work on Neuro Marketing. Lot of studies in Marketing Research were based on Psychology. However, recently work done by Howard Gardner and others with focus on Neurology and Physiology. I will send you the article.If you are working on any Multi Dimentional Scaling techniques also please write to me, my Professor.K.Kalyanaraman, a passionate statistician and research guide will be able to help you. Dear vishal,
MY suggestion is you can have a Quantitative and Qualitative Section that will help all of us to share problems and solve them with analytical tools.This is the suggestion that comes to my mind immediatly.
As i derive more experience in working with the site i think i will be some use to all of you.

Thank you so much sir for your reply. We will make sure that there is a "Quantitative and Qualitative Section". I will ask the Admin to do so as soon as possible. Just awaiting more and more Suggestions from your side.

Hello Sir,

As u suggested we do have a quantitative section prevailing in the forum..!! This link is in the project query section wherein the new ideas can be evolved and research material can be placed..!! While this link is in the project download section wherein new tools and techniques which can be reffered to for students can be placed. Also projects made on related topic can be uploaded..!!

To upload papers and research material is very easy..!! When u make a post being a new one or reply, u'll find additional options which are below them. Do click on (Upload Proects / Notes) button, and the rest is just like the usual email..!! Click on browse , when uploaded click on submit..!!

Dear Sir,

I am working at ICICI Bank HR dept, there one requirement or you may say help required to one of my colleague who is persuing his PT-MBA- HR, your inputs are required on it.

How a company uses the various statistical methods, , in their daily operations.

1. Transportation
2. Linear programming . . graphical, simplex . . sensitivity.
3. Assignment

Below is the OM assignment which my colleague needs to submit withing the next 2 weeks . . your help will really be appreciated.

Applications of the various O.R. and statistical techniques in manufacturing and service organisations.

The assignment must be exhaustive supported by live examples and case studies.
