The induction cum orientation programme of the fourteenth batch of the prestigious Post Graduate Programme (PGP) of IIM Indore commenced amidst much festivity and gaiety on the 12th of July, 2011. The two day programme was held in the central lawn of the sylvan, 200 acre, IIM Indore Campus. The ceremony was inaugurated by Dr. N. Ravichandran, Director, IIM Indore, Mr. Ramesh Mangaleswaran, Director, India Office of McKinsey & Company (the chief guest) and others through lighting of the Lamp of Knowledge amidst chanting of the Saraswati Vandana.In 2010, IIM Indore increased its PGP batch size to 450 from 240, thereby surpassing its siblings by a significant margin. This apart, the Director also showcased the continuing endeavour of the Institute to provide its services, to all segments, both within and outside the country, thereby stressing on its global footprints.
