Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore announced admission for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program offered in various departments for midyear session 2015.

Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D Programs 2015 - Indian Institute of Science:

Candidates should have minimum second-class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination as indicated below:​

# Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of Engineering/Technology; or Master’s degree in Science in an appropriate field; or Bachelor's degree in Science (with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry as subjects of study) followed by AMIE, AMIIChE, Grad.IETE etc.
# ME/ M Tech/ M Sc (Engg)/ M Des. or MS or MBA (post BE/B Tech) qualified candidates who wish to apply for Ph D in the departments of Engineering Faculty - valid NET qualification is not mandatory but desirable.​

Selection Procedure for Ph.D Programs 2015 - Indian Institute of Science:

# Qualifying in one of the following appropriate National Entrance Test (NET) with validity as on 1st January 2016: CSIR-UGC NET for JRF; or UGC-NET for JRF; or DBT JRF; or ICMR JRF; or JEST 2015; or NBHM Screening Test 2015; or GATE 2014/2015 or INSPIRE Fellows (for Ph D)is mandatoryfor bachelor degree candidates.
# Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.​
