The Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has announced its NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) 2012, an online (CBT) MBA entrance test for the admissions to full time management programmes for the academic year 2012-13. NMAT is the second largest online test which has been concluded successfully in CBT mode since last two years. Also, NMAT is the only MBA entrance test that facilitates multiple trials (3 times) to MBA aspirants to get into the most sought after B-schools. The test will be conducted in a time frame of 3 months starting from October 31, 2011, allowing choice of two retakes to the students should any of them wish.

Key features:
1- Choice of attempts – Candidates can make as much as three attempts in NMAT 2012. If candidates are not satisfied with their first attempt they can retake the test to improve their score.

2- No negative marking – Unlike other MBA entrance exams, there is no negative marking in NMAT 2012. This will allow candidates to make informed guesses and not drop any question for the fear of loosing marks. The system is as per global practices and psychometric principles.

3- Unique question paper for every candidate – Every candidate will get a unique question paper. The difficulty level of each question paper is set to be equal.

4- Equated results – Candidates taking NMAT 2012 will get their equated score in a span of 4-5 weeks from exam delivery. This will help candidates know their performance in time.
