Nirlep Appliance Ltd topped the BEST AD SURVEY IN OCTOBER
According to the recent survey conducted as regards the popularity of ads among customers the TV ads for home products grabbed most of the attention, in October. The survey was based on the recall and awareness of the brand. It was seen that the Nirlep Appliances Ltd of the non stick utensils was the top advertisement of the month. It achieved a recall of 1000% and score of 79 on ad diagnostics. All the top ads in the survey were new entrants except Airtel, which occupied second position. Brands ads did well in October. Besides Acilis, the other such brands included Britannia biscuits, Sunfeast biscuits, Cadbury chocolates, Safola oil and satellite TV operator Tata Sky. The scores were compiled on the basis of spontaneous recall, aided recall and likeability.

The top ads are selected on the basis of their score on the ad reach index. This score is calculated by multiplying the awareness score and the brand recall score and dividing this by 100. The ad diagnostics score is not used to rate the ads, but is provided to help advertisers understand how successful their ads have been in breaking through the clutter.
